Open enrollment training provides flexibility for users who need training for just a few individuals. Can’t currently find training in your area? Contact us and if there is enough interest, we will conduct training in your location as well.
Technical training can take place online or at a selected location. Online/remote training takes place using video meetings and instant messaging tools and can be public or closed for your organization.

Protecting Confidential Data Using Security Devices
When encrypting data, it is essential to properly manage and protect the encryption keys with which the data is encrypted. The solution is storing encryption keys in a dedicated device, such as a Hardware Security Module (HSM). HSM performs secure generation and storage of encryption keys that do not leave the secure HSM environment.
German company Utimaco is one of the leading manufacturers of hardware cryptographic solutions. Technical Training for Security Devices
CREAPLUS conducts technical training for the following Utimaco security devices:
Participants of the technical training acquire all the knowledge and practical skills needed for installation and management of security devices. It is always possible to customize the training to the special needs and wishes of the customer.
The training is intended for system administrators and project managers with or without experience in cryptography and covers cryptography basics, discusses Public Key Infrastructure PKI and the role that encryption plays; it specifically focuses on Utimaco HSM devices and security architecture in ensuring protection of sensitive data. The theoretical part of the training focuses on understanding the device itself, solution architecture, deployment and maintenance, while the practical part relates mainly to device management, integration and troubleshooting. Installation and configuration of the device is performed to demonstrate startup and operation. During this part of the training, participants acquire knowledge of managing Utimaco devices, including awareness of the value and importance of good practice in the field of security solutions.
In the training you will:
install, configure and manage the device
integrate the device with the most commonly used applications
prepare for the online exam that leads to “Utimaco Certified Engineer” status.
Content of the comprehensive practical training:

Before the training itself, participants register for the free Utimaco HSM simulator.
Training is conducted in English.
Training Certificate
Each training participant has the opportunity to take the Utimaco online exam (Utimaco Academy) after completing the training. The training certificate (“Utimaco Certified Engineer”) is issued by Utimaco Academy after successfully passing the online exam and is valid for two years from the date of issue.
Customized Training
All our training can also be conducted at your organization’s location. Conducting training at the organization’s own location also offers the possibility of adapting the content to the specific needs of the organization and defining areas with additional emphasis.
