The Artificial Intelligence for Slovenia AI4SI initiative, which operates within the Association for Informatics and Telecommunications of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has published an updated "Guide to Deploying Artificial Intelligence in Enterprises".

The first edition of the "Guide to Implementing Artificial Intelligence in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" has served as a beacon for many companies taking the first steps towards implementing AI in their business. However, rapid developments, particularly the rise of generative AI in the last year, have led to the need to update the guide.

"While we wanted to revise the guide to address the tectonic shifts in capabilities and offerings of new solutions and services caused by the leap in generative AI, we also wanted to appeal to a broader range of organizations. That is why we redesigned the original guide to address the challenges of large enterprises and public institutions," said Mitja Trampuž, CEO of CREAPLUS and President of AI4SI, the initiator and author of the guide.

At the same time, the European Union has adopted legislation, the Artificial Intelligence Act, which broadly regulates the field of its development, provision and use. In addition, the new guide addresses the security challenges that companies need to consider before deploying AI due to the increasing risks.

In addition to Mitja Trampuž, the guide was co-authored by Dr. Franc Bračun (NLB), Mateja Pucihar Baebler (Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Flavio Fuart (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and Andreja Lampe (Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
