In an article by journalist Daret Hribersek on the portal of the magazine Finance: ICT informant, Mitja Trampuž, CEO of CREAPLUS, sheds light on the problems with RSA cryptographic key cracking and provides best practices for reducing risks and vulnerabilities in this type of data encryption.

Dare Hribersek's article "RSA key vulnerability: the end of encryption as we know it?" first highlights the high number of vulnerable security certificates that could lead to the compromise of millions of RSA encryption keys.

Mitja Trampuž, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, goes on to explain the risks of the vulnerability. He also outlines the steps organizations should take to prevent encryption keys used to protect their digital assets, sensitive data, and digital transactions from being compromised.

Among the priority actions, Trampuz highlights inventorying RSA keys, implementing hardware security modules for truly random key generation, and preparing for post-quantum cryptography.
