Slovenian participants took the opportunity to present themselves to European partners.
CREAPLUS, together with the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organised and hosted the 11th CapTech Cyber Meeting. The meeting, which took place on 11-12 March 2024 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, was attended by 74 representatives of various stakeholders involved in the development of a common European cyber security under the auspices of the European Defence Agency.
"We are extremely honoured that so many national coordinators, representatives of leading European cybersecurity companies, universities and research and development institutions working in consortia on various European cybersecurity projects in defense attended the meeting in the Slovenian organisation. It was an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of the Slovenian cybersecurity industry among partners in the European Union," said Mitja Trampuž, CEO of CREAPLUS and Vice-Chairman of the Cybersecurity Section of the Association for Informatics and Telecommunications of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
One of the main focuses of the meeting was cyber security in the energy sector. The meeting was also used by some Slovenian companies and faculties to promote themselves to foreign partners, including Informatika, Smart Com, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics of the University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, and CREAPLUS.
